Looking for More “Hidden Figures”

The recent news of Katherine Johnson’s passing (Katherine Johnson Biography) reminded me that everyone has a story to tell and there are so many untold stories out there. When the movie Hidden Figures (2016) was first released, I was amazed that this story hadn’t been told before.

There are people who are doing science, engineering, mathematicians and technology research everyday that has an impact on our daily lives but because they are not right in front of our faces, we don’t think about it.

There are stories about someone who is:

Early in their career and trying to prove themselves

Or

Late in their career and not ready to give up on their life-long commitment to their research

Or

Newly married

Or

Newly divorced

Or

Parenting two children

Or

Parenting a blended family

Or

Childless (either by choice or not)

Or

Being a caregiver for their aging parents

Or

On a mission to fix their past

Or

On a mission to change their future

Or

In love

Or

Grieving

Or

Finding themselves

Who wants to talk more about how you can use this idea in your current or next story?
